PERFECT way to kick off December & the Christmas season...

3 Craft Chicks had the privilege of being vendors in the most amazing show this past weekend ~ It was the Two Women Country Christmas Show held at the Moran Prairie Grange. We had so much fun and it certainly was the perfect way to get in the holiday spirit! Everything was decorated so beautifully & Christmassy! I'm CRAZY ABOUT CHRISTMAS and most especially vintage Christmas so it was best for me not to look much at all the other amazing booths as I would have wanted to buy!buy!buy!

I have truly come to love the fact that as vendors I'll see some friends I've made through this "junking" business and make new ones also! It's also great to see returning customers & meet new ones!!! Did alot of that this weekend because it was PACKED to the gills with wonderful shoppers {especially on Saturday}.

I especially loved the location ~ an old GRANGE ~ so full of history & character! 3 Craft Chicks booth was in the basement & I fell in love with our space immediately! It was absolutely perfect for us!

Here are some pictures from our weekend...
Here comes SANTA...down the chimney tonight~ Jim made this beautiful mantle!!!
So many festive & vintage Christmas items!!!
So glad this snowman went home with my friend Cami ~ to remind her of one her Grandma had!
Couldn't have made it without all the help from Nat!!!
Vintage toys, games & blow molds under the very OLD aluminum tree!!! So FUN!!!
Thank you to our friend Brittany for all her help preparing & during the show!!!
So sweet to me!!!
My mom {JonElla} & Grandpa Al & Grammy Pat came to the show at the same time!
Imagine Scotty's excitement when he saw Grandpa & Grandma were there!!!
One of the favorites I made ~ it has vintage shiny brites on the bottle brush tree!
A little bit of this & a little bit of that...
SO DARLING!!!

We so enjoyed having Scotty with us! He LOVED every part of the show!!!

There are not words enough to thank this man...
my husband Jim! He's the VERY best & I couldn't even begin to think of doing this without him!!!
p.s. he builds the most amazing things...the mantle for this show & my wall/display were made by him just the night before set up!!! Yes that's right!!!

3 Craft Chicks wishes each and every one of you a very
festive & merry Christmas season ~

Make new friends and keep the old...

These words from an old song are what keep running through my mind today as I reflect upon this past weekend and the show 3 Craft Chicks participated in. We were vendors at the Vintage Finds and Handmade Treasures Market, hosted by mother & daughter team ~ Kathy & Jennifer.  It was fun to see many {old} friends & customers but also to make {new} friends & customers!!!

It is a bit like going to summer camp when you arrive at show set up the day before and see other vendors that you only see at shows. This show held much of that for me although it is only our 3rd show!!! It is so wonderful making new friends with vendors on either side of us...there is such a camaraderie among vendors! I am loving this aspect of being in the junking business!!!
I'm so THANKFUL to my sweet family & friends who helped prepare everything single thing for this show.

Here are a few pictures of getting things ready and of set-up day...
Love my 2 Craft worker bees!!! Natalie had already worked a full day at Chaps before making the drive out to help us with show set up!!!
Our friends ~ Doug & Kathy ~ showed up at just the right moment! Literally!!! Jim & I were out in the parking lot unloading our big rack system and I was sorta nervous {ok...alota nervous!} about how it was all going to come together as this was our first time using this rack system...I looked over and there was Kathy and she asked what they could help us with since they were nearby for a wedding rehearsal dinner and had exactly 50 minutes to kill!!! PERFECT!!! They cut, measured & hung some burlap type fabric to cover the back of the shelves!!! IT COULD NOT HAVE BEEN PLANNED ANY BETTER IF WE HAD TRIED!!! Love when that happens...

These pictures are a couple nights before the show...
THANK YOU Brittany for all your help & hard work ~ you made it possible to have the neat vintage jewelry rings & bracelets!!!
Nat was the faithful "filer"...we took the backs off vintage costume earrings and made them into rings!
A special thank you to each one who helped me get ready for this show...my family rocks & are so very supportive! I can't even imagine doing this without them...from start to finish...Lauren & Austin putting labels on my business cards to mark a change in 3 Craft Chicks, Natalie tying ribbons & bows on the bags, getting jewelry ready, set up for show, Brittany making all the pretty pretty rings and finally JIM...WHAT DOESN'T HE DO???? He absolutely makes this all possible!!! Thank you honey!!!

This is something that always AMAZES me...
The transformation that happens ~
BEFORE SET-UP...

HOPE TO SEE YOU NEXT MONTH AS WE ARE VENDORS AT A PHENOMENAL CHRISTMAS SHOW THE FIRST WEEKEND IN DECEMBER...
