Lots of elbow grease, time and most of all PAINT, PAINT AND MORE PAINT...

We've ALL been working and helping to get our little shop ready for a grand opening. I finally this week see a light at the end of the tunnel. It's quite a sweet little house BUT it needed lots of TLC!!! Mostly painting and cosmetic work and that just takes time and lots of paint! It's going well and I'm happy to share some progress with you...

Every room had different wallpaper borders on each wall, different trim sizes in different colors and some walls had chunky glitter on them and well some things I just don't even know what to say!!! First task was the take down borders, material on walls and scrape off glitter and what not...then we set out masking things off! I have a love/hate relationship with that blue duck tape...through the years of working with my husband I've learned the art of perfectionist painting and that requires lots of masking off so you end up with straight/clean lines!!! It takes more time but indeed looks so beautiful in the end!!!

Here are few shots before & during...
I love this picture even tho it's so dark! All 4 Craft vehicles at the shop!!! This was a night we all gathered to get the main room painted and I so appreciated each and every ones help even though it was at the end of a long work day!!!

Just a small sneak peek at how it's all turning out...
Hello Yellow, Old Driftwood Grey & a Real Red {I had the red color matched to a red patent leather wallet...love how it turned out!!!}

Kitchen looks just a tad different in these {Cath Kidston} colors of pink, green, blue & red!!!
I AM IN LOVE WITH THE KITCHEN!!!

Stay tuned for upcoming info and details and a grand opening date real real SOON!!!
